Everyone tells you to post your Linkedin CTA link in the comments section. Here’s why you should NOT.

What’s the benefit of placing your CTA in the comments instead of the main post, you ask?

You get better reach.

Social media platforms want you & everyone to stay on their platform for as long as possible.

If you put a link in your post, that means you’re asking your readers to leave and go elsewhere. Therefore they (the platforms) will limit the reach of your post.

That’s why it’s best to post your “link in the comments” (to rig the algorithm).

But the problem is.. when you put your CTA links in the comment,

You’re doing a disservice to your audience.

How so?

You’re making it hard for the readers to look for that link.

Let’s say you received 50 comments on your post. Now your next reader has to click “Load more comments” multiple times just to find that comment with your CTA link.

So it’s either MORE IMPRESSIONS or CUSTOMER/AUDIENCE FIRST.
